Langer AI
Terms of service
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms apply when you use Langer, our web and mobile apps for talking across languages. By creating an account or using Langer, you agree to them.
Who provides Langer
Langer — the web app at app.langer.chat and the Langer mobile apps — is provided by MB „Įdarbintas intelektas“, Lithuania (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@langer.chat.
Langer is in beta
Langer translates messages and speech so that people who speak different languages can understand each other. It is a working prototype that we are opening to beta testers: features may change, be limited or be removed as we develop it, and the service may at times be unavailable.
Langer is free of charge during the beta. If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance, and you will pay nothing without agreeing to it explicitly.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve Langer without any obligation to you.
Automatic translation
Translations and transcriptions are made automatically by AI. They can be inaccurate or incomplete and can miss context or tone. Do not rely on Langer where a mistake could cause harm — in medical, legal, financial or safety matters, or in an emergency: check the meaning another way or use a qualified interpreter.
Your account
You need an account to use Langer. You can create one with your email address and a password, or sign in with a supported provider such as Google. You must be at least 16 years old.
Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself and let us know at hello@langer.chat if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what is done through it.
Acceptable use
Use Langer lawfully and respect the people you talk to. Do not use it to harass, threaten, deceive or impersonate anyone; to send spam, or content that is illegal or infringes someone else’s rights; to get into other people’s accounts or data, look for security holes in the service, overload it or disrupt it; or to copy or resell Langer or build a competing service from it, except where the law expressly allows it.
Your content
Your messages, what you say in calls and other content you send through Langer stay yours. You allow us to store, process, translate and deliver it — also through the service providers that do this on our behalf — only as far as needed to provide Langer, keep it secure and comply with the law.
You are responsible for what you send and must have the right to share it.
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy notice.
Ending your account
You can stop using Langer at any time and delete your account in the app’s settings. Deleting it removes your profile, contacts, conversations and calls — for the people you talked to as well.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or when the law requires it. Unless the law or someone’s safety prevents it, we will tell you why.
We may also end the beta or discontinue Langer. If we do, we will let you know by email in advance whenever we can.
Liability
We do our best to keep Langer working and your data safe, but during the beta we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors, or that translations will be accurate.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by relying on a translation. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited — for example for intent, gross negligence or harm to life and health — or your rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Langer develops. We will tell you about important changes in advance, by email or in the app. If you keep using Langer after they take effect, the updated terms apply; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
If something goes wrong, please write to us first at hello@langer.chat and we will try to put it right. Consumers can also turn to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority of Lithuania (vvtat.lrv.lt). Disputes are settled by the courts of Lithuania; if you are a consumer, you can also go to the courts of the country where you live.
